Led by engineers Kristof Van Echelpoel and Jyrki Leysen, Engineering Office Vestad offers a wide range of services in the fields of structural engineering, energy performance and building safety.
Vestad’s origins lie in the former Van Echelpoel engineering office, founded by Kristof Van Echelpoel in 2008. The new name Vestad has been in use since 2019 when the then 12 employees moved to the current offices in Lille.
Since then, Vestad has doubled in size. This versatile team now counts 24 engineers and building experts, including 9 structural engineers with extensive expertise in concrete, steel and timber structures. They are responsible for some 1,000 projects yearly, including new houses and apartments, renovations and conversions, industrial buildings and public projects such as residential care facilities.
