Daarvoor hanteert AB Associates een projectmatige aanpak met aandacht voor een strikte planning en nauwgezette opvolging, zodat projecten binnen budget en volgens de afgesproken timing kunnen worden gerealiseerd.<\/p>\n\n<p>Vertrekkend van het ontwerpplan van de architect, werkt het rekenteam van AB Associates een constructief ontwerp uit. Daarvoor wordt al 15 jaar lang de BuildSoft rekensoftware gebruikt. Tijdens het rekenen is de link met de praktijk nooit veraf, en wordt veel aandacht besteed aan de uitvoerbaarheid van de uitgewerkte oplossingen. Daarom ook vertalen de beton- en staaltekenteams van AB Associates alles nauwgezet in praktisch toepasbare, makkelijk leesbare en gedetailleerde uitvoeringsplannen.&#13;\n&#13;\nAB Associates werd in 1999 opgericht door Kurt Vandecan en Frank Vanermen, met een focus op projectmanagement, veiligheidsco\u00f6rdinatie en tekenwerk. Sinds de komst van Phil Melard in 2003 als derde vennoot, speelt constructief rekenen een steeds grotere rol binnen de activiteiten van AB Associates, dat ondertussen is uitgegroeid tot een ingenieursbureau met 17 medewerkers (waaronder 8 ingenieurs, 3 betontekenaars en 3 staaltekenaars). Om de verdere groei van het team te ondersteunen trad Koen Vertessen in 2017 toe als vierde vennoot.<\/p>\n\n<p>Het projectportfolio van AB Associates is bijzonder uitgebreid en divers, en omvat zowel nieuwbouwprojecten als renovaties. AB Associates is actief op het vlak van appartementsbouw, utiliteitsbouw (kantoorgebouwen, politiekantoren, schoolgebouwen, woonzorgcentra, \u2026) en werkt met behulp van de BuildSoft rekensoftware creatieve oplossingen uit in staal, beton en
