Diameter approx. 5 meters, height approx. 4 meters.
All-steel staircase, railing of cantilevered glass on one side, and steps clad in natural stone.
The staircase was constructed in several sections to prevent its transport and preservation.
Schijf WVB
Schijf WVB is a Dutch/Italian engineering office, specialized in steel stairways and railings. The work is completely in 3D. Since december 2000, they started using first PowerFrame and afterwards Diamonds to calculate the most complex staircases.
